The 2026 PERDOSNI Conference will serve as both a scientific forum and a networking event for neurologists from across Indonesia, featuring a series of activities, including symposia, workshops, and interactive forums. This event is expected to not only enhance knowledge and skills in the field of neurology but also foster meaningful collaboration opportunities.

The world of medicine continues to experience rapid development, especially in the fields of knowledge and technology, including artificial intelligence, big data, and telemedicine. This has brought new changes to medical practice, including in the field of neurology. These advancements require medical practitioners to adapt, update their knowledge, and integrate innovations to ensure patient care is more effective, efficient, and focused on improving patients’ quality of life. In the Indonesian context, the role of neurology is highly strategic. A healthy brain is the foundation of a strong nation, “Healthy Brain, Strong Nation.” Therefore, advances in neurology not only impact individual patients but also contribute to human resource development and national resilience.

Inspired by this spirit, the Makassar Branch of PERDOSNI is organizing the 2026 National Scientific Meeting (PIN), which discusses the latest topics in the field of neurology. Through symposia, workshops, and interactive discussions, it is hoped that all PIN 2026 participants will be able to share the latest knowledge, strengthen professional networks, and foster collaboration across study groups (pokdi) for the advancement of health services in Indonesia.

The theme of PIN 2026 is: “Neurology at the Forefront: Integrating Science, Technology, and Comprehensive Care.” This theme reflects the challenges of globalization and digital transformation, which require scientific innovation and modern technology to go hand in hand with humane and comprehensive services. Therefore, it is a great honor for us to welcome our colleagues from all over the country to attend this meeting, not only to enrich scientific knowledge, but also as a gathering to strengthen brotherhood and reinforce our shared commitment to improving the quality of neurological services in Indonesia.

All praise is due to Allah Subhanahu Wa Ta’ala for His boundless mercy, guidance, and blessings, which continually grant us the strength to contribute to the advancement of neurological science and the improvement of the quality of life of the Indonesian people.

Neurology in Indonesia continues to show remarkable progress, supported by growing collaboration, innovation, and dedication among neurologists. As part of the commitment to strengthen this advancement, the Indonesian Neurological Association (PERDOSNI) proudly presents the PERDOSNI National Scientific Meeting (PIN) 2026, which will be held on 29 April – 2 May 2026 in Makassar, carrying the theme “Neurology at the Forefront: Integrating Science, Technology, and Comprehensive Care.”

This theme reflects a vision to position neurology as a dynamic, progressive, and human-centered field. Neurology is expected to integrate scientific advancement, technological innovation, and holistic patient care, thus contributing not only to scientific development but also to improving healthcare quality and the overall well-being of the Indonesian community.

PIN PERDOSNI 2026 serves as a strategic platform for neurologists, researchers, and other healthcare professionals to exchange ideas, strengthen scientific networks, and deepen insights in various areas such as Pain, Headache, Neurotrauma, Neuroinfection and Neuroimmunology, Neurointensive Care, Neuro-oncology, Neuroepidemiology, as well as Medical Ethics and Law.

The participation of both national and international experts as speakers will enrich this forum through shared experiences and the latest research findings, making it a strategically valuable event in advancing research, clinical practice, and innovation in neurology in Indonesia.
